"Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them."
Henry Ford

Times are changing.  Today people want a creative path to problem-solving, not an obstacle course.  In the 21st century, the traditional courtroom trial – where “might makes right,” where one side wins and one loses – rarely provides that path.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is, more often than not, better suited to individual cases and litigants than protracted litigation leading to a trial.  ADR means greater participation by the parties themselves in the process, a sense of control by them over the outcome, and a cost-effective way to get to that outcome sooner.
